Song Custom Properties
Song custom properties allow you to filter your songs page so that you will see certain types of songs. Like songs that you only use in a specific ministry or at a certain time of year.
There are two types of Custom Properties for songs
The Songs page allows you to assign custom properties just like the People page does. However, on the Songs page there are two types of custom properties:
- Song Properties (dedicated just to the song)
- Arrangement Properties (dedicated to any arrangement you may have attached to that song).
To edit those properties (delete, add new, edit current ones), click 'edit properties' at the bottom of their sections.
Add, Edit, or Delete Properties
On this page, you are able to add, edit, or delete any properties you need to.
1- Add new Properties here. Type in the name, then click Add New Property.
2- Add new options here. Type in the name of your option and click Add.
3- Edit current options or properties by hovering over them and clicking on the pencil. To delete them, click on the red minus (once a property or option is deleted, it cannot be recovered, so be careful).
Once properties are created, you can assign songs to them from the Custom Properties area to the right of the song or arrangement
Keep in mind that if you are in the Song, you will only see Songs Properties. If you are in the Arrangement of the song, you will only see Arrangement Properties.
NOTE: make sure to click 'Save' or 'Save and Close' when you are done assigning properties.
