Enabling and Disabling Downloading of MP3s
There are two download settings for Mp3 files. The first is on the 'settings' page, and it sets the default download status of every song uploaded to your account. The second is on each individual file after it has been uploaded to your account. This lesson will show you how to find those.
To Change Global Setting, click on 'settings' in the upper right
NOTE: Only the Primary or Secondary Account Administrators have access to the 'settings' page.
Click on 'PCO Settings' on the left
Then set the Mp3 Downloads setting
If your MP3 setting is set to 'True', that means this is allowing downloads. If it's set to 'False', that means it is not allowing downloads.
To change individual settings for each file, go to the Songs page
Click on the name of the song
Hover over the mp3 where it's stored, and click the pencil icon that appears
Set the download permission to True or False.
True will allow users to download this file. False will not allow the file to be downloaded, only streamed.
